Question by Carlos F: Ways to get grants/money for a single father going to school?
I’m a 21yrs old Hispanic male expecting to be a father in about 4 months, i’m taking my perquisites for my dental hygienist program in Houston, Texas at Houston Community College. Are there any grants, organizations or scholarships that i can qualify for in order to get some extra money for my baby and school.
Please i need real and helpful answers, this is nothing to play around with. I appreciate every response.

You need to apply for federal aid at http://fafsa.ed.gov and unless you are taking the baby upon its birth and raising it yourself, you can’t count it on the fafsa application as in your household.
What do you think? Answer below!

Since you are under 24 and unmarried, you would apply under your parents income. The fact that you have a child does not enter into it unless the child lives in your household.
